Welcome to my corner of the writing world!

The other day, a friend asked me how I do it. How do I keep coming up with new characters and stories, book after book after book? I stopped and thought about it…and scared myself. I’ve published more than twenty-five books and I don’t intend to stop any time soon. So how do I do it? Where do the ideas come from? The people, the problems? I’ve long given up on that warehouse in Schenectady, after all.

The truth is that I don’t really know. And I’m afraid if I study on it much longer I’ll be in trouble. I feel like Wile E. Coyote. I can run across thin air as long as I don’t look down. So that’s my plan…eyes straight ahead, fingers flying.
